So our refrigerator had a small leak in the control panel and the ice maker stopped working, but we are remodeling this late fall/winter and needed something to get by. Well we had a single big ball maker and I use it when mixing drinks. The family started using it to fill up there jugs and like the bigger ice balls, so to help with the need ordered 2 of these and they perform like they are supposed to.Easy to remove, clean and useI only see round ice for drinks in videos I watch but now I have my own. I can make it whenever I want to. I use coffee instead of water because I want cold coffee everytime, so I only add creamer and sugar with the ice coffee and have my perfect drink.Everyth works great, but I received this ice try missing one rubber stopper so I am only able to use 7 of the 8 ice cube slots.These make the coolest round ice cubes for your bar drinks. Horrible design, all rubber then has a small rubber cap that doesn't fit. If you press it down, it drains whatever water you tried to fill the ball with and empties the container. Complete waste of money.I got this ice mold for having cool looking spherical ice cubes for my scotch and for that purpose I think it works really well. The rubber material feels like high quality, I don't expect it will crack any time soon. I like that it comes with a little a funnel for filling them but I do wish there was someway of telling as these get full as more often than not I end up overfilling and having water all over the top. This isn't a huge deal as it really doesn't matter if I get some ice on top, I can just dump it when I go to refill the mold. I saw some people complaining that the ice doesn't come out perfectly spherical but I don't think there's really any way around getting that line in the middle as its a two piece mold, in terms of usability in makes no difference at all. You still get almost completely spherical balls that are the perfect size for one normal sized glass of scotch. If you aren't putting ice in your scotch you really should be, contrary to popular belief if doesn't make taste watered down but actually enhances the flavor. Overall I'm very pleased with this mold.
