These were used on an infant to help care for her ostomy. They were used to suction out the waste from the bag at diaper changes for a 3 month old baby. They worked great with the bag being used as they fit right into the bag opening and after squeezing the waste to the edge of the bag you could easily suction the poo out with these. Obviously as baby gets older bigger ones will need to be used. These are also great because you get a better idea of how much poo the baby has pooped out. With the ostomy it's important to know how much they are pooping out. These were a lifesaver! Def worth the money if insurance doesn't cover these on your plan.I needed these for the barn, you never know when your horse may need a shot from an injuryNot sure how "sterile" these are, especially after opening the package. I make it a point to minimize handling of the syringes in the tray and use packing tape to close the tray. Other than this, it is a good product for growing my mushrooms.Great product.
